For Sleeping Bear, I spearheaded a branding and packaging design initiative aimed at establishing the startup as a distinctive player in the premium home goods market, despite budget constraints. Our goal was to attract discerning New Zealand homemakers and differentiate the brand from other premium offerings by creating a unique, cozy and premium vibe.
After presenting the initial branding concept, the client provided feedback that the typography appeared too childlike, which detracted from the sophisticated, premium image we aimed to project. They desired a more elegant and refined finish to better align with the brand's luxurious and serene identity.
