Engaging Youth in Economics: Understanding and Shaping Our Future
Purpose
This research project, in collaboration with the London Doughnut Economic Coalition (LDEC), aims to co-design a Critical Economic Capability intervention with young people. This ideal long-term outcome would be to bring consensus and advocacy to urgent economic issues experienced by participating youth communities.
What Participation Involves:
Survey:
You will be asked to fill in a survey. It will take 8 minutes and the questions are designed to understand young people's perceptions on economics education and how the experience of learning economics can be improved.
Interview:
You may be contacted for a 30-minute interview where we will discuss your views on economic education and literacy.
Any quotes from your interview that are considered for inclusion in the research report will be shared with you for your approval before they are used.
Advice:
You may be invited to review or test the learning materials developed

There are minimal risks associated with this study, primarily involving the sharing of personal views and opinions in a recorded format.

Your name and personal details will remain confidential and will not be used in any promotional material. All data collected will be anonymised unless you provide explicit consent to be identified.
